Navid was born in 1983 in Shahr-e Rey. Besides being an award-winning writer and the jury member of several writing competitions, he is also a literary critic, editor, and journalist. Navid has written more than 30 brilliant short stories and novels for children, in all of which he uses a successful combination of black humor and fantasy. He has been the ditor-in-chief of Houpa since 2014.
