Nasrin was born in 1981. She has an MA in Persian Literature. She has written and translated several children's books. Her book, Are You Invited Mousie?, has received a 5-star medal from the Children's Book Council of Iran and 4 Flying Turtle awards from the Flying Turtle Festival. Nasrin has won the Blue Bird Prize for her other book, My Pinkish Cotton Candy-Headed Grandpa. The Purple Watrmelon is the name of her other award-winning work which has received the special prize of the Iranian Association of Children's Writers.
