Marjan was born in 1976. She has an MA in Painting. She is a prolific painter and illustrator who has illustrated many children's books. Marjan is a member of both the Iranian Illustrators Society and the Society of Iranian Painters. "Dear Squirrelfish" is her first collaboration with Houpa.
