Bahram is the prince of Rome and the only son of the roayal family. Once when he is hunting with his men, he sees a beautiful deer. He follows the deer and loses his way. Finally, after some wandering, he finds himself in front of a castle built on top of a mountain. He enters the castle and there he sees the picture of a very beautiful lady on the wall. An old man tells him that the woman in the picture is Golandam, the princess of China, who comes out of her castle once a year to meet her suitors. Bahram who has fallen in love madly with her heads to China …

 The story is an adaptation of Aminuddin Mohammad Safi's “Bahram and Golandam”, written in verse in 9th century.
